Your submission of this form indicates you have read, understand and agree with the terms and conditions of the particular sale you are interested in and of the terms and conditions of the absentee bid you wish to make on an item in that sale with this form.

ABSENTEE BIDDING: You are always encouraged to view the item before hand to make your appraisal of the merits of the particular item and its value. If you are unable to attend or stay for the duration of an auction after previewing, please complete absentee bid form(s) required for bidding on any lot in the auction. Either contact the auctioneer no less than 2 days prior to the auction for information and to submit bids or, if present at the auction hall the day of the sale, register and present the appropriate bid form(s) to one of our staff members prior to the sale of the item(s).
To avoid any confusion, in uncatalogued sales, clearly describe the article(s) to be bid on and preferably direct the staff member to each lot. Absentee bids are executed on your behalf by our staff in competition with bids from other absentee bidders and from the audience at the auction. In the event two identical absentee bids are received, the bid first received will be accepted. In the event your maximum bid ties with a bid from the audience, the normal policy is to go one increment higher on your behalf to break the tie in your favour. If you want us to do so, PLEASE INDICATE GO ONE INCREMENT HIGHER on the form below. IF NOT, PLEASE INDICATE THIS IS MY MAXIMUM BID.
There is no charge for the Absentee Bidding service. We will make every effort to execute all absentee bids. However, if
there is an error or omission, the auctioneer shall not be held liable. We normally require a good faith deposit equal to 20% of the maximum total bid (Credit Card Only) for new customers. In the event of your unsuccessful bid, your deposit will be refunded in full. A Buyer's Premium is sometimes in effect and will be added to your successful bid.
Payment is due in full on receipt of our invoice.
Failure to pay on receipt of invoice may jeopardize future absentee and telephone bidding privileges.
